Description:Job Summary:Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company fleet of cars, trucks, and specialized vehicles. They will make sure all of the vehicles and drivers have proper licensure, insurance, and inspections. In addition, they will work with department managers to ensure a safe work environment for the company.
Duties/Responsibilities:--- Ensure all company fleet vehicles are compliant with all State and Federal requirements.--- Develops schedules and procedures for and ensures adherence to routine maintenance and non-routine repair of all vehicles in the company's fleet.--- Collaborates with supervisors and staff to manage and reduce expenses such as those for fuel and labor costs.--- Establishes a schedule for recommended replacement of fleet vehicles.--- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.--- Monitors compliance with safety procedures.--- Performs other related duties as assigned.



Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and adhere to a budget and to monitor and reduce expenses.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  
  Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Five years of experience in fleet maintenance or repair with two years in a supervisory role required.
  • Valid drivers license.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
