Division Overview:
Crown's Food Division is the number one manufacturer of food cans
in the world. Our complete array of food packaging serves a variety
of markets, including fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, meat, ready
meals, pet food, infant milk powder and other dry food products. We
offer a wide selection of food cans from round to bowl as well as
shaped cans. We truly focus on excellence. Here is your chance to

Location:
Plant 37 is located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece
and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry. There are
approximately 95 employees at the Hanover location. The Hanover
Plant is located on Route 194 in York County and is in close
proximity to York, PA, Gettysburg, PA and the Maryland border.

Position overview:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for working with
the operations and quality teams to ensure adherence to quality
specifications and standards throughout the manufacturing process.
-This position is scheduled 5am-5pm on a yearly rotational
schedule. The starting hourly rate is $23.6773 with progression
increases. -
Duties And Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Assurance
Technician's responsibilities would include, but will not be
limited to, the following: - -

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements
At least one year work experience in manufacturing or industrial
environment
Basic math skills
Computer skills and working knowledge of various Microsoft programs
(Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
Demonstrated decision making skills
Able to work alternate work schedules including overtime, voluntary
and mandatory, based on business needs
Preferred Requirements
GED or High School Diploma preferred
Previous roles with responsibilities for Quality Assurance or
Quality Control
Previous food manufacturing experience
Knowledge of GMPs
6S Training
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms,
and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds,
frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift
and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust
focus
Working Conditions:
Generally works in a production environment where hearing
protection is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be
exposed to light lifting, warehouse forklift traffic and changing
climate changes, depending on the season.
Production noise level is frequently loud.
