Opportunity: CACI is seeking an IT Network Intern to function as
part of a team of engineers responsible for CACI's distributed
enterprise network environment in our Chantilly, VA office. This
position will be hybrid with the expectation that you be in office
80% of the time so you must live within the local commuting
distance (50 miles) . Responsibilities: • Installation and
Implementation: Overseeing network installations and implementing
solutions with a focus on performance and scalability. • Device and
Service Configuration: Configuring and installing network devices
like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs,
ensuring each device and service is correctly integrated and
optimized. • Testing and Optimization: Conducting thorough tests on
network systems, monitoring performance, troubleshooting outages,
and working with network architects to optimize the network. •
Maintenance and Support: Ensuring the health and maintenance of
both enterprise and development networks, including managing
various network hardware (e.g., firewalls, switches, routers). •
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Using performance analysis
tools to troubleshoot network issues, track data flows, and resolve
any disruptions in service or network efficiency. • Customer
Support: Providing support for customer-related technologies,
ensuring the infrastructure meets user needs and expectations.
Qualifications: Required: • Completing final year of Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or related field • Basic understanding
of network essentials • Must be legally authorized to work in the
United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at
any time in the future • Familiarity with enterprise network
concepts: basic knowledge of configuring network routers, switches,
firewalls and wireless networks Desired: • Cisco CCNA or CCNP
Certification • Knowledge of or experience in SDA, ISE, & DNAC •
Knowledge of or experience in large-scale network environments -

host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not
limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
