Job Description:
Who We Are: Kudu Dynamics is a Leidos owned company forged out
of a decade of experience in computer network operations and
staffed with talent who have built, overseen, and enhanced
capabilities throughout the entire USG arsenal. Our team of hackers
and engineers has experience spanning centuries of research,
development, and operations missions - across desktop, mobile, IoT,
and embedded platforms. Kudu Dynamics is uniquely qualified to
anticipate tomorrow’s threats and build the next generation of
capabilities. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced
program manager to join an established “team of teams” of engineers
who are performing advanced engineering research, development, and
analysis across multiple technical domains. This role calls for the
creative application of multiple skill sets across multiple teams,
enabling Kudu to continue to develop and deliver advanced
capabilities to our customers. As the Program Manager, you will be
the execution engine driving the product direction by working
closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
You will put your strategic planning skills to the test as you keep
the customer informed and engaged, helping them foresee and clear
any obstacles. As a maestro of coordination, you will put excellent
written and verbal communication skills to use harmonizing project
goals across several teams, coordinating contracts and staffing
plans, fostering collaboration, and orchestrating success. You’ll
cultivate and maintain robust professional relationships with our
counterparts on the Government customer team as well as key
stakeholders at Kudu, collect and disseminate information to/from
Kudu principal investigators (PIs) and the Government, be a
catalyst for the timely completion and delivery of contractual
deliverables (both technical and administrative), and serve as a
coordinator and consensus-builder between all of the stakeholders
contributing to this portfolio: technical, contractual, financial,
security, IT, etc. Ideally, you will also play an integral role in
developing new business opportunities, both within our existing
customer base and extending to future transition partners and
Sponsors within the US Government. The projects in this portfolio
have multiple objectives and span multiple technical disciplines,
but all focus on understanding cyber and cyber-physical systems,
especially at the seam where cyber meets physical. Your knowledge
and working understanding of government processes including
pricing, contracts, scheduling, and security, combined with a broad
understanding of technical concepts will help multiple teams
deliver innovative results to our customers. Responsibilities: You
drive the execution of an amazing set of cyber and cyber-physical
research and products. You understand customer requirements, and
help draw them out and refine them. You're a team player who loves
collaborating with engineers, SMEs, proposal teams, and graphic
artists - because teamwork makes the dream work! You're familiar
with software and hardware development methodologies and
technologies, and you have an intellectual curiosity to understand
and appreciate the national security impact of the advanced
projects in the portfolio, and how they contribute to our
customers’ mission. You're not afraid to dive into the technical
nitty-gritty. You're a master of meeting deadlines and juggling
multiple tasks like a pro - because you're cool under pressure.
You're a problem-solving whiz who can tackle any challenge that
comes your way, and you're not afraid to take the lead. You want to
dive into a completely new challenge, make sense of it and master
it. Required Qualifications: Experience building products or
companies. Experience in the cyber security domain. A U.S. citizen
with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Possess 5 or more years of combined experience in a management
role. Possess 3 or more years of combined experience in
customer-facing roles. Hold a bachelor’s degree. Bonus
Qualifications: Fluency in both the language of our customers (DoD
program managers, advisors, contracts and finance, etc.) and the
language of Kudu engineers. That is, the ability to translate
complex technical concepts to our customers, and to translate
complex program requirements to our engineers. Experience in a
business development role, showcasing a portfolio of related
capabilities. For example, familiarity with inter-governmental
acquisition strategies. Record of success in taking research and
building it into minimum viable products. If you're looking for
comfort, keep scrolling. At Leidos, we outthink, outbuild, and
outpace the status quo — because the mission demands it. We're not
hiring followers. We're recruiting the ones who disrupt, provoke,
and refuse to fail. Step 10 is ancient history. We're already at
step 30 — and moving faster than anyone else dares. Original
