Job Description:
Disability Support Specialist, Mid The Opportunity: As a Disa
bility Support Specialist, you will facilitate and coordinate
reasonable accommodations ( RA ) and personal assistance services (
PAS ) for civilian employees and applicants. You will be
responsible for the intake and maintenance of RA cases, serving as
a key point of initial contact for the workforce, maintaining
compliance with all agency and regulatory guidance and providing
office support for employees with targeted disa bilities. What
You’ll Work On: Process reasonable accommodation (RA) requests,
including monitoring RA mailbox, providing RA forms to employees
and applicants, resp ond ing to RA RFIs, creating case files with
the RA databases, reviewing intake documentation for completeness,
making initial contact between the requestor and the RA Spe cia
list, coordinating delivery of RA equipment to employees, and
closing case files, as needed or directed. Maintain all case files
and databases in accordance with agency guidance and standards.
Serve as a primary point of initial contact for employees,
supervisors, and managers on reasonable accommodation. Provide
direct service to employees and applicants with targeted disa
bilities as needed when an individual’s primary DSW is unavailable,
including note taking at meetings, keyboard mouse navigation,
keyboard typing, data entry, holding and movement of materials,
dialing and answering the telephone, lifting maps and charts,
filing, and other general administrative tasks. Join us. The world

information with discretion Experience with Micro sof t Office
applications, including Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Active
TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam Associate’s
degree in Human Resources, Disability Studies, Social Work, or
Psychology and 1 years of experience in human resources or
reasonable accommodations (RA), or 5 years of human resources or
reasonable accommodations (RA) in lieu of a degree Nice If You
Have: Possession of excellent critical thinking, problem-solving,
customer support, and communication skills Clearance: Applicants
selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need

various factors, including but not limited to location, the
individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge,
skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific
affordability and organizational requirements. The projected
compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will
