Job Description:
At ChristianaCare, we recognize the crucial role mental health

Social Worker II for our Inpatient Behavioral Health department.
This position involves providing top-tier psychosocial support to
patients dealing with a range of behavioral health issues. Through
compassionate care, clinical expertise, and interdisciplinary
collaboration, our goal is to offer comprehensive inpatient mental
health services that adhere to the highest standards of healthcare
delivery. Successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team
dedicated to healing, advocating, and serving our community with
integrity and empathy. Assess patient needs and develop
individualized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention
services as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to
coordinate patient care. Document patient care and any changes in
condition. Conduct therapeutic groups and educate families and
caregivers. Participate in continuous quality improvement
activities. Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle
high-pressure situations Familiarity with electronic health record
systems Proficient in crisis intervention techniques Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred. Certification in
crisis intervention training.
