working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified IMC
RN in Arlington, Virginia, 22202! Job Opportunity – Intermediate
Care / Telemetry RN – Virginia Start Date: February 17, 2026
Location: Arlington, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other
weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period). No call.
Patient ratio 4:1 across all shifts. Float rotation required to
IMC, Telemetry (cardiac and non-cardiac), and Med/Surg units.
Highlights: Intermediate care unit specializing in pulmonary,
cardiac, and trauma patients requiring advanced monitoring and
interventions Diverse patient population including advanced airway
management, tracheostomies, ventilators, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP,
cardiac drips, chest tubes, and Zephyr Valves Epic EMR system with
mandatory training provided (accelerated or 2-day class based on
experience) Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV
teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and
more 13-week travel assignment with structured orientation and
clinical support Float position across multiple units – ideal for
experienced nurses seeking variety and professional growth
Requirements: Active Virginia or Compact RN license required in
hand at time of submission ACLS and BLS certifications required;
NIH Stroke certification preferred Minimum 3 years of progressive
care/stepdown/IMC experience required Previous travel nursing
experience required Cardiac telemetry and management of
dysrhythmias experience required Pre/post cardiac catheterization
experience required Proficiency in managing and titrating cardiac
drips, heparin protocols required Central line and PICC line
management required Experience with rapid response teams and
telemetry monitoring required Isolation precautions knowledge
required; wound care/wound vac experience preferred IV insertion
skills preferred; traumatic brain injury, peripheral nerve blocks,
and surgical drain experience preferred Epic charting system
experience required with documentation of months of recent use
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious
exemptions considered per CMS guidelines) Smoke/nicotine-free
