Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Home Health experience required License: Must have DC RN License in hand upon submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Medicare-certified home health agency experience is required. Experience with OASIS E is a must. Ability to manage at least 8 patient visits per day. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a home health position. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in their homes. Experience in managing various patient diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, and palliative care is essential. Candidates should be proficient in peripheral IV starts, infusion services, and wound care. Understanding of home health Medicare processes including OASIS E is required. The role will involve performing patient assessments and charting using Homecare Homebase. The nurse will work independently but will have interdisciplinary support available. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and be able to coordinate care effectively. Compliance with vaccination requirements and safety protocols is necessary.
