Reston, Virginia Shift: Mon-Fri Days Will oversee 20 Operating Rooms Will report to the Hospital's COO Will oversee 100 FTE's . Key Responsibilities: • Lead strategic initiatives that enhance the customer experience and operational performance in Surgical Services. • Participate in hospital-wide and departmental committees, serving as a key liaison for perioperative operations. • Mentor and coach subordinate leaders, providing feedback, supporting career development, and fostering high engagement. • Communicate organizational goals, policy updates, and industry trends effectively to staff. • Design and implement evidence-based standards of care and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting requirements. • Develop and maintain a performance improvement (PI) program that monitors quality metrics and drives excellence in surgical outcomes. • Build strong collaborative relationships across departments and external partners to achieve organizational goals. • Drive talent development, succession planning, and professional growth within perioperative leadership teams. • Establish and execute a long-term strategic vision for surgical services that aligns with the hospital’s mission and growth objectives. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required • Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred • Minimum 3 years of experience in Surgical Services required • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience) • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state required • CNOR and/or CSSM certification preferred ZRSC To Apply for this Job Click Here Company Description Serving patients who value compassionate, community-focused care.
