Corporate Partnerships Manager oversees WWP's new corporate
partnership and sponsorship initiatives including strategic
direction and goal setting, team management and development,
identifying, researching, and selling new corporate partnerships,
sponsorships, and program underwriting. The Resource Development
Manager-New Business drives WWP's revenue growth through
implementing established strategies and tactics to cultivate future
strong corporate relationships. The Resource Development Manager -
New Business provides expertise, leadership, and support to
development teams, works closely with the Director of Corporate
Partnerships and advises on new business goals for long term
strategy that supports the Corporate Partnerships team, the
strategic plan, and annual business plan for program growth. The
Resource Development Manager-New Business works closely with other
development leadership to maximize the support from new and
existing corporate partners and sponsors.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the growth of gross and net revenues from the acquisition
of new corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and other program
underwriting opportunities, focusing on six- to seven-figure dollar
opportunities.
- Effectively articulate, verbally and in writing, WWP's history,
mission, vision, and programs to new potential funding
sources.
- Provide leadership and management to the new business
fundraising team members including selecting, developing, and
managing a highly functional team and ensuring high
performance.
- Oversee New Business teammates' annual KPI development and
annual review process.
- Develop and maintain an active new business pipeline of
qualified potential partners and sponsors. Update and share that
pipeline with leadership on a continuous basis.
- Work with the Director of Corporate Partnerships to develop and
maintain a strategy to actively solicit the support of WWP
leadership within the new business process.
- Track communications within Monday and Salesforce CRM platforms
to capture new business activity and ensure prioritizing of company
passions through relationship based fundraising strategies.
- Represent WWP by speaking to and training of corporate
organizations, community audiences, and donors.
- Travel to meet with prospective partners in support of program
objectives.
- Establish effective working relationships and work
collaboratively with WWP teammates across the organization, e.g.,
Communications, Marketing, Programs, Legal, and other Resource
Development teams, working cross channels to garner new
donors.
- Evaluate quarterly the new business initiative to identify
continuous improvement opportunities and efficiencies to save donor
dollars.
- Provide monthly acquisition projections and forecasting.
- Oversee industry research to identify potential partner
opportunities.
- Manage overall sales trends in giving with support from
analytics team. Identify trends in current database with regards to
forecasting for ROI reporting.
- Communicate status of projects, findings, and trends to
Director of Corporate Partnerships.
- In collaboration with the Director of Corporate Partnerships,
establish an annual budget for the new business initiative and
team, manage that budget efficiently throughout the year.

delegate, and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and
tact.
- Demonstrated understanding of Wounded Warrior Project and its
mission, values, programs, and services, and the impact of these
programs and services on wounded warriors and their families.
- Demonstrated understanding of military service organizations
(MSOs) and veteran service organizations (VSOs).
- High energy level. Self-starter; willing to take
initiative.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office, e.g.,
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Unequivocal commitment to the highest standards of personal and
business ethics and conduct.
- Mission-driven, guided by core values, and a pleasure to work
with.EXPERIENCERequirements
- Seven years of fundraising or sales experience.
- Five years of management experience.
- Five years' experience working with senior management and
executives.
- Five years of demonstrated achievement identifying,
cultivating, soliciting, and closing partners
and/donors.Preferences
- Five years of experience working in non-profit
organization.
- Three years of account or portfolio management experience.
- Two years of Salesforce experience.EDUCATIONRequirements
- Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of education,
experience, training, or certification may be considered in lieu of
degree.CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURERequirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license.WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL
DEMANDS
- Ability to work in a WWP office a minimum of three days per
week and when appropriate, remotely two days per week.
- General office environment: temperature controlled.
- May require participation in events under varying weather
conditions.
- Up to 40% travel.
- May require lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds.We recognize

Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between
$82,790 - $103,488 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's
combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This
position may also be eligible for an annual performance
incentive.For San Diego, California and Washington State
Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between
$90,675 - $113,344 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's
combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This
position may also be eligible for an annual performance
incentive.For New York Applicants: The estimated hiring range for
this position is between $98,560 - $123,200 annual base
salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience,
qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible
