Job Description:
Exelon Corporation, a preeminent energy provider dedicated to

Telecom Engineer 1 to join our dynamic team in the Engineering &
Architecture department. The ideal candidate will support and
enhance the telecommunications infrastructure that facilitates
critical energy distribution operations across diverse generating
facilities. This role demands a hands-on approach to design,
implement, and maintain communication systems while ensuring
compliance with industry standards and supporting the company's
vision for innovation in energy generation. Design and implement
telecommunications equipment and facilities, including fiber optics
and wireless technology. Analyze and troubleshoot network systems
to ensure continuous service and performance enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telecom
systems with existing energy management infrastructure. Prepare
technical plans and compliance documentation for regulatory review
and approval. Stay informed with the latest industry trends in
telecommunications and propose innovative solutions to improve
efficiency. Proficiency in CAD software and network management
tools. Strong understanding of wireless communication principles,
fiber optics, and related technology. Ability to manage projects
from conception through execution and maintenance. Excellent
problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
