Expected hourly range of $20.41 to $22.68, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position The Commercial Plumbing Apprentice will provide support to the Commercial Service operations. Under general supervision of a licensed plumber, the Commercial Plumbing Apprentice will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while gaining familiarity with tools, materials, and job site procedures. This role participates in a formal apprenticeship training program designed to prepare individuals to become licensed journeyman plumbers through a combination of on-the-job training, rotational field assignments, and related classroom instruction. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and compliance training. Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of commercial plumbing systems. Support pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system testing under the guidance of licensed plumbers. Assist with water heater, booster pump, and circulation system service as part of training and development. Accurately document work orders, parts usage, and service activities using company systems. Order parts and participate in online and classroom training. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members. Support job-site cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance. Work safely and professionally with plumbing tools, equipment, and materials. Minimum Qualifications Active State Plumbing Apprenticeship License Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing Willing and available to work overtime when required Demonstrated basic knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas piping Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, and work orders Possess basic math, measurement, and computer skills Preferred Qualifications Gas Fitter Trainee or Apprentice License Graduate of an accredited vocational or trade school or a 1 year of related field experience Hands-on experience with commercial plumbing systems, drain cleaning, or jetting equipment
